Earth is covered over 70% water. Even it is everywhere we should not take it for granted. Water is very essential and important. Not only have us who need water but also animals and other living thing needed water to live. This is one of the very essential elements to our health and it is so important to our body. Two thirds of our human body weight is made up of water. 95% of our human brain is water, 82% in blood and 90% in the lungs. If 2& of water is drop in our body’s water supply it can trigger sign of dehydration. One of the most common causes of daytime fatigue is the mild dehydration. So without water we might die in a few days. Just like a car that cannot run without oil and gas, we can compare the important of water to the mechanics of our human body. Our body cannot work without it because all the cell and organ functions that made up of our entire anatomy and physiology depend on water.
They say drinking at least eight glasses of water plays a huge role in preventing diseases. It can lower the risk of colon cancer by 45%, 50% for bladder cancer and can even reduce the risk of breast cancer. Water also serves as a lubricant, forms the base for saliva, forms the fluids that surrounds the joints, regulates the temperature of our body distributed through perspiration as cooling and heating, helps to control constipation by moving the food through the intestinal tract and eliminating waste or as detox agent and helps regulate metabolism. Because water is very essential and important component of our body we should always make sure that it is clean and free of contaminations to assure proper health and wellness.
